VMware’s Workspace One Access and Intelligent Hub included in FedRAMP Moderate Authorized SaaS

    Information Technology vendors for the US Government must adhere to strict rules set forth by FedRAMP,  The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program. FedRAMP is also responsible for getting government agencies into the 21st century by utilizing cloud, mobile, and Software as a Service products.

    VMware has been apart of the FedRAMP program since early 2019 and received a full authorization on November 21st, 2019.

    Today the company has announced that Workspace One Access (formerly VMware Identity Manager) and Intelligent Hub are now included in FedRAMP's Moderate Authorized SaaS.

    According to the Workspace ONE listing on the FedRAMP market place, current US Government agencies using this service are the Department of Commerce, United States Census Bureau, and the Department of Education.
