Ever since I started working with Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management, I always wanted to attend VMware's VMworld! It seemed like a cool event to learn and network at, back when I was trying really hard to become a Mobility Engineer for a major airline - I keep thinking about having a career I enjoy with flight benefits!! ... and I also wanted the bookbag that I have seen other coworkers with.

Like many events, VMworld 2021 is online and mostly free (a few things are being a Tech+ pass)... I'm here to tell you about one event I am excited to check out.

I met Chrisitan while I was working at Boeing, he was able to break down many things for me. He was also instrumental in getting me up to speed with Rugged Device Management. Once Boeing started layoffs, He even put in a good word for me with another company here in Charlotte. Everything he taught me I was able to use to get a job with Autozone right after my termination... Higher pay, more vacation time... unfortunately very toxic IT enviroment - and they used Soti. I took a pay cut and was able to find another job with Lowe's managing rugged devices. Mind you, this was all during the pandemic. I really enjoy it here! Thanks to Christian for making sure I had a deep understanding.
